Stephanie Tocko, Cougars roll over Rutgers-Camden

Kean University women’s lacrosse came into Thursday night’s game against
Rutgers-Camden losers of the last three games but with a lot of offense behind them,
Kean was able to snap the losing streak.

Senior Stephanie Tocko led all scorers with six goals as the Cougars plowed through
the Scarlet Raptors 18-4 for the teams seventh win of the season.

Junior Ciara Mastrodomenico with four goals and Lyndsey Cannon with three goals
helped Tocko in the win. Samantha Gnapp, Maggie Brocklebank, Kat Halasz and
Hannah Jones also had goals.

The defense for the Cougars really stepped up which had been non-existent in the
games against Montclair State and Farmingdale State.

Goalkeeper Jules Keeley recorded 13 saves and only allowed four goals in the win as
