The Academy Awards is a highly anticipated, star-studded ceremony celebrating cinematic achievements. The Razzies is, well – the opposite.

Since 1980, the Golden Raspberry Awards has celebrated the anti-achievements of the film industry.

Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas took home the most Razzies this year, winning in the Worst Picture, Worst Actor, Worst Screenplay and Worst Screen Combo categories.

The other nominees for Worst Picture were ‘Left Behind’, ‘The Legend of Hercules’, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, and ‘Transformers 4: Age of Extinction’.

Cameron, in the Worst Actor category, beat out Nicholas Cage in ‘Left Behind’, Kellan Lutz in ‘The Legend of Hercules’, Seth MacFarlane in ‘A Million Ways To Die in the Wes’t, and Adam Sandler in ‘Blended’.

Coming in first for Worst Actress was Cameron Diaz for her roles in ‘The Other Woman’ and ‘Sex Tape’. The other nominees were Drew Barrymore in ‘Blended’, Melissa McCarthy in ‘Tammy’, Charlize Theron in ‘A Million Ways To Die in the West’, and Gaia Weiss in The ‘Legend of Hercules’.

Michael Bay won Worst Director for ‘Transformers 4: Age of Extinction’ over the directors of Kirk Cameron’s ‘Saving Christmas’, ‘The Legend of Hercules’, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, and ‘A Million Ways To Die in the West’.

The winner in the Worst Remake, Ripoff or Sequel category was ‘Annie’, which bested ‘Atlas Shrugged #3: Who Is John Gault?’, ‘The Legend of Hercules’, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, and ‘Transformers 4: Age of Extinction’.

The Razzie Redeemer award, which goes to an individual who, in previous years, were either nominated for or won a Razzie, went to Ben Affleck. In 2004 Affleck took home a Razzie winning Worst Actor for his performances in ‘Daredevil’, ‘Paycheck’ and ‘Gigli. This year, Affleck presented Best Director at the Oscars.

The Wost Supporting Actress and Actor were Megan Fox, who won for her role in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, and Kelsey Grammer, who won for his roles in ‘Expendables 3’, ‘Legends of Oz’, ‘Think Like A Man Too’, and ‘Transformers 4: Age of Extinction’.

In conclusion, those were the Razzies, where you can get rewarded even for being the best at being the worst.
