Multicultural sorority Omega Phi Chi will host a “Knight in the Jungle” party featuring music from DJ Wallah in Downs Hall on April 16 at 9:30 p.m.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Wilkins Theater and cost $7 for non-Kean students and $5 for Kean students with a limit of two tickets per Kean I.D. card.
The event will run from 1 a.m. but doors close at 11:30 p.m. Students are asked to have their Kean I.D. present upon arrival and accompany their guests.
Funds from the event will go to the sorority and the Kean Dance Marathon on April 17, a 12-hour event hosted by the Greek Senate celebrating yearlong fundraising efforts of students benefiting the Children’s Specialized Hospital, said Omega Phi Chi Vice President Adrienne Middleton.
Omega Phi Chi is dedicated to generating unity among women and promotes ethnic diversity. They have participated in a number of community programs such as breast cancer walks, Operation Christmas Child and Light the Night.
