Cougars slide continues

The Rowan Profs men’s basketball team got some revenge against the Kean Cougars
Wednesday night as the Profs defeated the Cougars 64-55 to make up for a one-
point loss Rowan suffered in early December.
Guard Anthony Gibson led Kean with 16 points and six assists. The Cougars cut the
five-point gap to two points in the second half but the Profs had a the three-point
bucket working for them in the game hurting the Cougars in the second half as Kean
was outscored 41-37.
Kean is now 6-15 overall on the season and are 5-9 in the New Jersey Athletic
Conference with the loss. Kean has now also lost its last five games. Kean is now
tied for sixth in the NJAC but due to their overall record, sit in the eighth spot of the
overall standings.
Kean plays Rutgers-Camden Feb. 2 in a pivotal conference matchup.
