Deadline approaching for Student Organization application submissions

Kean University’s Student Organization is now accepting applications for upcoming open positions.
Applications have been available since Feb. 5 and the deadline to submit applications is March 4 at 2 p.m.
Student Organization, as shown in their mission statement, “strives to enhance the intellectual, cultural, and personal growth of those is represents, by acting as the voice of the full-time, undergraduate, student body.”
Over 40 positions are available, ranging from executive board officers to senior, junior and sophomore class officers and representatives. All candidates must be full-time, matriculated undergraduate students at Kean University, and must be able to serve the entire term of their position.
Executive board officers receive compensation for their work.
Mandatory candidate meetings and interviews will take place from March 15 to 18. Elections will be open Tuesday, April 5 from 9 a.m. until Apr. 6 at 6 p.m. via Cougarlink. Election announcement will take place on Wednesday, Apr. 6.
Each position requires a certain amount of credits, and information detailing the requirements of each position, along with the Spring Executive Board and Council Application can be found on on Cougarlink.
