Erika Jones’ 10th straight double-double gives Kean win

Senior guard Erika Jones recorded her 10th straight double-double of the season
as the Kean women’s basketball team defeated the Rowan Profs 75-47 Wednesday
night on the road.

Jones led all scorers with 28 points and 10 rebounds in the game. Kean out
rebounded the Profs 50-36 and had a big advantage inside the paint scoring 60 of
the team’s 75 points from the interior.

Kean also forced Rowan to commit 35 turnovers. Sophomore AnnaRose Pierre had
seven steals, while Jones and guard Shay Collins had six steals. Collins also scored
four points and recorded a game-high eight assists.

Kean continues its road trip to start February with Rutgers-Camden Feb. 2.
