Kean Dance Theatre sells out Wilkins Theatre
By Dominique Vinas
What an amazing start to the weekend it was as KDT rallied up the crowd in Wilkins Theatre Thursday, April 18th with their inspiring and intricate dance numbers.
Different emotions were felt throughout the crowd a the dancers told their stories through the music and dancing. Whether it was “We are who we are” by Kesha, or “Gravity” by Sara Bareilles, the dancers were able to intrigue the audience. Some students were so moved by the performances that they even shed tears.
“When the dancers performed ‘All in my Head’ by Tori Kelly, it told a story similar to what I’m going through in my life and they danced it so beautifully that I felt their sorrow through the performance,” said sophomore Brianna Sanders.
Other students really felt like the dancers were on point and so in sync and appreciated their dedication and great effort.
“You could really tell they practiced a lot and all worked together to put on a good show for all of us,” said Terrance, a freshman here at Kean, “this performance makes me very excited for the future shows KDT has to offer.”
