Kean trounced Morrisville State College, 51-28, on Saturday’s afternoon game in Morrisville, New York.

Darius Kinney once again led the Cougars to a terrific ground game, carrying the ball 22 times for a career best 242 yards. The Kean offense totaled 531 yards on offense, 312 of it on the ground.

After starting the season 0-2, the Cougars have now won 2 games in a row heading into October.  Next up is Western Connecticut State University, another team who is still yet to win a game this season.  If Kean can pull off this victory, then they will be positive in the win column with William Paterson and the College of New Jersey waiting for the Cougars come mid-October.
