By Mike Jago
At 10:48 a.m., students and faculty were met with a partial campus lockdown, after reports of a man with a shotgun surfaced from Kean’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
Kean Hall, the Administration Building, Harwood Arena and the Child Care Center were all under lockdown as police searched for the man, who was reportedly wearing a basketball jersey, head wrap and walking by Elizabethtown Gas on Green Lane.
The man was found and questioned by police, and it was found that he was not carrying a weapon, but an umbrella. All lockdowns were lifted as of 11:40 a.m.
UPDATE: Kean Police lifted lockdown on all campus buildings. The individual was located by Township Police off campus and was NOT armed.
