Samsung Galaxy S5

Here goes another line to wait in, this time it’s for the big name device of the year: Samsung Galaxy S5.

“I have the Galaxy S3 and I’ve been waiting for something better and it’s finally here,” Says Daneila Blake, a senior majoring in Public Administration.

Extra employees on April 11 will be working in stores like Best Buy, AT&T and Sprint. Some people might even camp out selected stores, forming lines that might in-fact wrap around the entire building.

“It’s like buying the new Jordan’s at a Foot Looker,” Said Jordan Williams, a sophomore majoring in Accounting. “People are more obsessed with the latest technology than sneakers these days. They just have to have it first.”

Williams explains that people will even go to the extreme and break their contracts to buy the latest and ‘hottest’ phone. He was baffled when he searched (on his Galaxy) how much the new Samsung Galaxy S5 would be if he was to break his two-year contract with Verizon.

“Who would pay that much money for a phone?” Williams exclaimed.

This isn’t old news though. People are aware of expenses and sacrifice. Tons of individuals preorder while a majority wake up on early cool mornings. People will and have been surrounding all edges of the buildings of new technology. This will never be a surprise for people who work in the industry.

“I just paid $200 to fix my S4; I’m kind of upset that it’s coming out this soon. The competition must be real,” Nicole Synder, a junior majoring in English said.

What will the Samsung’s rival, Apple, do next?

A few features the Samsung Galaxy S5 has are the 5.1-inch display that offers full HD resolution and water and dust resistant. The countdown has begun; April 11 is just a few days away.
