‘Tis the Season for some holiday fun and the Liberty Hall museum at Kean University is getting into the holiday spirit with some events that the whole family can enjoy.

The first event that the museum will be hosting is throughout the entire month of December, which is Christmas in Toyland.

Christmas in Toyland is where the museum will be bringing back some of the most classic board games for visitors to play like Clue, Candy Land and Monopoly.

This takes place on the first floor of the Liberty Hall museum and all of the rooms will be transformed into a theme related to the corresponding board game.

“It was really cool the way they set everything up, I played Clue with my friends in the dining area and it was set up like a murder mystery” said Jojo Fields education major.

This event takes place Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for Kean Alumni, $8 for Seniors and $8 for children who are the ages of 3-17.  Kean students and faculty are free.

The next event is the Gingerbread House Workshop that will be held on December 17 and this is where children can make their own gingerbread house that they will get to build, decorate and take home with them.
