The 2012 Emmy award winning series for Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup is ready to let zombie mania consume its viewers. The post-apocalyptic action drama created by Frank Darabont returns Oct. 14 on AMC.
“What I like the most about it was probably the idea of the world basically coming to an end and how people were forced to come together and protect each other as a small community,” said Patrick Gonzalez, a sophomore marketing major. “All you see today is movies about zombie apocalypse and this show is basically what happens after the credits roll.”
According to amctv.com, season three of “The Walking Dead” will be everything but disappointing.
“In the highly anticipated new season, Rick and his fellow survivors continue to seek refuge in a desolate and post-apocalyptic world and soon discover that there are greater forces to fear than just the walking dead. The struggle to survive has never been so precious.”
Season two had its shocking moments with Sofie’s, Shane’s, and Dale’s death. With their safe haven turned into ashes, uncertainty awaits to those who survived.
“In season three, I’m hoping for them to find a cure, since they found out the disease was airborne, and of course new shelter. They found a castle looking structure in the last episode of season two,” said Nick Quinteros, sophomore biology major.
The living will rise once more for the third season of “The Walking Dead.”
