Kean student Marcus Scroggins, of Edison, was killed in a car crash on April 5. He will receive a posthumous degree at this year’s graduation ceremony.
Kayla-Simone McKelvey, a Kean graduate accused of making threats against the black community using Twitter, pleaded guilty to a third-degree charge of creating a false public alarm. She will be sentenced on June 17.
A Tower investigative team canvassed several buildings on campus and found that several bathrooms had non-locking stalls and faulty soap dispensers and faucets.
