Kean University women’s lacrosse continued its presence in conference awards as the New Jersey Athletic Conference recognized some of the Cougars’ after a great season.

Cougars senior goalkeeper Jules Keely was named NJAC Goalkeeper of the Year Tuesday while teammate Lyndsey Cannon continued to reap the awards as she was named to the all-NJAC first team. Cannon was also named to the IWLCA all-Boardwalk region second team for her performance this year.

It is Keeley’s second straight Goalkeeper of the Year award. Keeley was second in saves in the conference with 11.4 saves per game and third in save percentage with a 47.5 percentage. She has been one of the top goaltenders in the conference for quite some time and this being her last season is a somber end for the Cougars.

Cannon, on the other hand, continues to make waves. She earns the IWLCA nominated for the second-straight time and adding a Skyline and NJAC first team, only strengthens her career accolades.
