Steve Vahalla Named Skyline Conference Player Of The Year

A rewarding season for the Kean University men’s volleyball team continues to get better.
Tuesday, the Skyline Conference released its awards and senior Steve Vahalla was picked by the eight coaches of the conference as the conference Player of the Year award after a season where he ranked in the top two in services aces, kills and hitting percentage. He finished third in points.
Vahalla was also named to the Skyline Conference First Team. Joining him is sophomore Ed Jedziniak . He has totaled 2014 kills this season and 45 digs.
Sophomore Kyle Farley was named to the Skyline Conference Second Team.
The Cougars head to Massachusetts to play Endicott in the play-in game in the NCAA Tournament. The winner will face No. 1 seed Springfield.
